Guest Odhibjorn
Does anyone here know if there is any company out there that makes removable steel handles for the log press? I was thinking that this summer I want to do make myself one for working out this summer on my families island. I live in a rural area so I know I could find trees easily and clear out a deep space in the log to bolt in handles, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a place that sold just the handles? I've done a few google searches but came up with nothing. A similar thing happened looking for scottish hammers but I was just to have a few folks here post some good websites. Damn google has something against strength training it seems
The Natural
If you contact Allan at Pitbull Equipment he can probably just tell you what he uses for the ones he welds, and you can find something similar in your area. -Rex
Guest Odhibjorn
Thanks Rex, I'll look into it. A friend of mines father is a welder so I'm sure he could do it up for me if I knew what to use.
Matt Brouse
A 1" pipe?
climber511
I can think of several ways you can do it depending on the equipment you have access to (welder etc) but a piece of 3/4" or 1" pipe the right length threaded on each end with a cap on each end would tighten right down against the log - just drill a hole - stick it thru - tighten it down - lift - repeat. Simple! Edited November 3, 2008 by climber511
