Patrik_F Posted November 13, 2002 Share Posted November 13, 2002 Today I beat my new #3 that I got yesterday. I closed it! The new #3 was much narrower than my old and also felt a little bit easier to sweep. The new one is 76 mm, the old is 81 mm. This is a huge difference for me since I dont have large hands. This gripper feel very good in my hand and I can use my strength better with it. I am still surprised that I got it since I havent been close with my old #3. I knew I was going to be close with the new one the moment I felt it in my hands but I didnt quite think I would close it. Tomorrow is a new gripper day and it will be funny to see if I can do it again or will have trouble with it that I heard other people have had. My new no3 that i got recently is also narrower than my old one but is harder to close, probably due to the spring being set very deep. I have managed to close it bracing my wrist, so i am getting close!! My old no3 on the other hand i have now closed well over a hundred times. Congratulations!! Its a good feeling!! Michael. The thought was to have a upclose photo but things didnt go smoothly :p Anyway, here is the picture. But due to the fact that it is narrower it fits like a glove But I can also feel that the old one is harder even if you count out handle width. I think it is strange because the spring is set lower on the old as I told. It must be one of the tougher #3s or something. I trained the grippers again today and took some new pics, unfortunately no really good pic. I got one decent were you at least see the close. The closeup pic of the #3 came out messed.
