Just wondering if it does any harm to leave a choker on a gripper, or should it be taken on and off before and after workout?

thanks

Does no harm at all from everything I've read and experienced myself. I've kept a Super Elite clamped at parallel for a few months now. Calibrates the same as it did a few months back too because I retested it.

Yup, Ben's right, the worst it will do is mess up your knurling a bit, but that's why you should put some type of tape around where the choker goes.

Right on thanks guys, I have been using tape to ensure I don't mess with the knurling, now I can stop taking off and putting on chokers every time I work out :)

Good to hear Jsmiley. Just to ask everyone, what's your preference for tape around the handles? I'm going to go into choked grippers more and I was curious. Athletic tape? Electrical? Otherwise?

I use athletic tape it tends to hold the choker in place the best.

Like there wasn't enough replies saying the same things. :cool I'm using athletic tape as well. Clamp sinks into it better than on the hockey tape for example and seems to be stickier on the surface as well so the clamp stays on better. I also fully believe that it doesn't make the gripper weaker to leave the choker on.
