Curiously, each set was easier than the preceding one, albeit I was increasing weight. Hopefully learning how to use the gear will pay off in greater gains for overall strength, we'll see. Guest drfish
Nice squatting and benching. You'll probably get some nice bench gains just from actually doing a normal bench press on a regular basis as well. You going to try anything more than singly ply for a squat suit? I was thinking more along the lines of the Leviathan, should put you around the 1200lb squat mark! http://www.inzernet.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=LEVIATHAN_CANVAS
carusom1
Kelly- I think I'll take it a little slower for my first powerlifting meet. As long as I make gains and learn how to use the equipment properly that will be a good accomplishment in itself. 041310 15" Rack Deadlift: all wt + ~80lb in chains 495 x 2 @ 7 545 x 4 @ 7 600 x 4 @ 8 655 x 2 @ 9 655 x 1 @ 9 610 x 4 @ 9 Kroc Seated Calf Raise: 4 x 225 x 12 RDL: 4 x 8 x 315 DO Stretch

carusom1
Shirts are frustrating, eh? What size is yours? What make and model? Yep, so far the bench shirt has been the most frustrating to deal with. Do you have a shirt? If so, what size? It's a double ply denim; not sure of the manufacture as there are no identifiable markings on the shirt. I think I'm going to have to buy a different shirt, probably a single-ply poly so I can wear it in other feds as well. Any recommendations??? Matt Brouse
I have a single ply Titan in a 54 (I think) which is too big. I know Metal makes an IPF approved line... and Titan, obviuusly... Not really my area. It should be a sonofabitch to get on, for the record.
