I found the #3 to be relatively easy. Never came close to the red. I was only into bending for a short period of time though..

Very interesting poll I voted the nail I geuss because I have not bent one yet but have put a good kink in one and I think it gives a damb good fight. The #3 CCS was easy for me and still is comparibly speaking to kinking hard steel but that is just the way it all feels to me.

I would like to go at this post again as I have now bent a red nail I found the proper form DO and the nail had no chance.

I think it depends on how strong you are in the start of your journey as to the level of difficulty of both of these feats.

Closing any #3 with a deep set is somewhat trivial IMO yet a red bend is pretty impressive regardless of technique used etc... Closing a brand new #3 out of the pack with CCS however, that is impressive -world class gripper strength.

I also think this has much to do with what you like to train.

I hate training grippers, so I'm not good at it, but I like bending, so the Red wasn't that hard.

For someone who loves training grippers but hate bending it could very well be the other way around ;)
