RiotGrip
I'll agree with you guys, I'm really happy to have been certified, and by no means was Tom's #3 "easy", but as Pat said, it wasn't the hardest one I've came across. I'm proud of my certification, but rest assured I will not be satisfied until I close my own #3 (which I am very close to doing) and beyond. The situation was right, Dr. Strossen was there, I got certified. I have trained hard to reach the level I'm at and I will continue to train and improve to the best of my ability. I encourage every one else to do the same. Once again, I'm glad I could be a part of such an amazing night.
Tou
It was just a little joke guys. I have great respect for Greg's feat and certification and I'm sure Tom's #3 is a tough one. Who knows if my #3 is not easier ? I think the same thing as you : I want to get certified on my #3. It's my goal since I received it. It's a fight between me and it. Sorry if I offended someone. Bearcat 74
I don't know if anyone mentioned John Wood lifting the Inch? He did. I was standing over it, I asked him to come over and lift it. He really didn't want to, but was kind enough to, WOW! Cold, in a suit, been riding from Detroit, and he didn't want to. He still picked it up, dropped it, and casually walked away. That is one strong man!
Tom Black
I missed that, otherwise I would have put it in the flash report. Man, there was so much going on two people 20-feet apart would have completely different stories to tell. I think if the grip table hadn't done so much crushing and bending that maybe we would have done better on the dumbbell.
Sybersnott
I am still in awe of Riotgrip's achievement. Amazing!! Imagine going to the AOBS not knowing what to expect.... and walking out the newest COC, with pics taken by Randall Strossen himself!! Now I ask you... how COOL is that?!? And... to top it ALL off... getting to be the lucky one to sit next to the great, mighty and legendary Sybersnott himself!!! WOW!!!!! A night he'll treasure for years to come!! :p
RiotGrip
Thanks for the kind words sybersnott, you are correct, I didn't know what to expect walking into that dinner, heck I even forgot my own grippers. Anyway, getting to certify in the company of such high achievers as well as sitting next to the legendary snott was awesome. I knew I was close to the #3, but I wasn't sure I could get it at the dinner. It was a great event, one I will surely tell my grandchildren about, if they are at all interested.
