Roark
Richard, Right. John never made a claim to have deadlifted the bells from the floor. John is similar to Heath in his manner- neither needs a bullhorn or a bragging tee-shirt. When you have a father such as Kim Wood, everyone, or, many people, including me, assumed that Kim was guiding John's hand- strength training, but Kim told me he is learning from John's creative techniques on thick handled training. By the way, as impressive as some numbers on the Rolling Thunder are, these also were not 'deadlifted' from the floor, as you know.
mobsterone
Practising for the day after the grip comp I have managed over 172 on thick handles (one at a time) and did 2 x 175 pounders farmers walk on standard size bars at the gym today. This after working up to their biggest bells (195) for one handed deadlifts (all the way up). I'm ready...
