Yeah, Richard I believe has told me (and I think if I remember the specs right) the silver elites were built the same as the old #3's. I could be wrong though.

To set the record straight again, both my #3s springs I mentioned measure .287" as opposed to .280. Now, you say how can he say that.....well, according to my Starrett Brand Machinists caliper with a half dozen check and rechecks on new # 3S and the two old Slivercrush's .thats what it reads. (some new #3s can be at .281 because of surface flash rust ) I do wish before anyone blurts out "facts" about me or my equipment they get em' straight first. RS

Heck, I have actually had people start telling me about "this guy Sorin and what he did" and then as they looked me in the face realized it WAS me.I am amazed by the things I have by their accounts "done" lol RS
