Now, you say how can he say that.....well, according to my Starrett Brand Machinists caliper with a half dozen check and rechecks on new # 3S and the two old Slivercrush's .thats what it reads. (some new #3s can be at .281 because of surface flash rust ) I do wish before anyone blurts out "facts" about me or my equipment they get em' straight first.
