Ironisland Posted April 28, 2006 Share Posted April 28, 2006 I would like to know how long recovery time on grip training does one need between each grip training secession. Grip training such as CofC sets and reps, then pinch gripping for sets and reps, finger curls for sets and reps as an example all done on one day. Is it one day, two or three days for some? If you train every other day, is that considered "over training" or should you give your hands more time to rest beyond the 48 hours? I would appreciate and input from Gripboard members. Thanks. Scott Styles Posted April 28, 2006 Share Posted April 28, 2006 It depends on the individual, volume of work, intensity of work, and focus on recovery. Some can get away with daily grip training, others are happy with once a week. I personally feel you have a lot of control over how quickly you recover.
