Guest StrongerthanArne
Hm, a bit of geology mixed with grip stuff. As a palaeontologist by profession I better keep my mouth shut, but seriously most coal deposits are very, very old and Scott was not the one who brought it up in the first place. Sybersnott
Nathan, We may never know if there were any men as tall as Robert Wadlow back several hundred or several thosand years ago. To be that tall AND to be big and strong?.... very doubtful. Even Golaith was weakened by very poor eyesight, due to a enlarged pituitary gland pressing on his optic nerve - making him literally blind (no wonder David was able to slay him - the giant man couldn't see him!). Remember too, way back then people tend to spin tall tales about men of great stature and size/strength. A man like William Wallace is a good example. At the end of the tale, Wallace is nine feet tall, 600 pounds of pure strength without an ounce of fat on his body, can slay several men with one swing of his sword..... yada, yada, yada. Heck, who knows? People a few hundred years into the future will spin tall tales about the great and mighty Sybersnott!!! (Ya never know!) :p
