DuTCH
Was a nice little get together and good to see everyone again! I think everyone got personal bests on the RT due to everyone supporting and shouting against eachother. The IM pinch Block humbled everyone, and i was really suprised i did so bad on it. Maybe you can post those results too Moser? Or are you a bit tipsy?

Florian Kellersmann
Congrats, guys! Sounds like a nice comp.! Also I heard from Niels Schabacker, that he did a double hub lift (first try). Anybody else who tried this?
Bult
I had a great time meeting all you guys and Yvonne. Thanks for allowing us to join in the fun. Too bad we had to check out early. Better next time. That is, if Theo and I can work out the right route. Thanks again for the loading pin Thorsten. b.t.w. Did anyone start the marketing campaign for Theo`s super-spittle already? moser1972
Ahhhh We must fill up the "+10 K Pinch Spit" in 10 ml bottles for the grip world. Glad that u like the comp yesterday. Great numbers Jeroen! First comp, first win Yeah, your right - it makes sense to work on your routing, absolutely Jeroen! Thanks for coming and thank you for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the nice biertje. Hubgeezer
Question: Do the RT numbers and Block numbers include the loading pins and devices? Or, are the number "raw", and only include the amount of the plates themselves? I figure, to the nearest 1/2 kilogram, the devices weigh 2.5 kg. moser1972
Hubgeezer, both numbers are "raw", RT and PB without the loading pin and without the device. Thorsten

jimwylie1
Good to see another successful contest. well done everyone involved. The IM pinch Block humbled everyone, and i was really suprised i did so bad on it. ← I don't like the IM pinch block at all. It's slick as hell and I'm crap on it! Suits people with clammy hands best from what I have seen.
moser1972
Thanks Jim. I agree with you, absolutely. It was more a contest to break the old 2004 Pinch Block record from the last Germans. Some competitors drive more than 300 kilometers to lift 5 times on the Rolling Thunder. So i decided to host this comp after the RT comp, too But you are right, that block is "not the best" grip device
Hubgeezer
I don't like the IM pinch block at all. It's slick as hell and I'm crap on it! Suits people with clammy hands best from what I have seen. ← There are a lot of really strong people that suck at that thing. I find that using chalk on that guy is a recipe for disaster, best to go bare on it. Chalk would LOWER my lifts by 20% on it. Clammy hands? Don't know about that, but Wade Gillingham is pretty good at it. You could ask him his secret. I think it may be Clay Edgin's LEAST favorite device. I find that lifts can vary 20 pounds, with no explanation as to why it is high or low on a given day. Rolling Thunder contests are fun. Thank you to the Germans for reporting on it. David Horne
Cheers Jim. But joking aside I don't want to see this in contests really. David
