com202
Wasn't sure where the best place to post this would be. Here looks good. http://www.houseofpainironwear.com/conversion-chart.htm The site above is to a Kilogram Conversion Chart. Also an option for printable version at top of the chart. Some cool clothing and other stuff also. It helped me and hopefully it will help somebody else here. Later, Jason \\m//

jimcg
If you want to easily type in any figures and have them quickly converted, here's what I recommended and still use almost daily when visiting Gripboard: http://www.gripboard.com/index.php?showtopic=12722&hl= //Jim
Scott Styles
1kg = 2.2lbs To convert kilos to lbs, multiply the number in kgs by 2, then add the resulting number divided by 10 So 50kgs = (50*2)+(50*2)/10 = 100 + 100/10 = 110lbs As for going from lbs to kilos, I'm American. The only time we use kilos is in science class.
David_wigren
1Ibs=0,45kg so from Ibs to kilos just multiply the ibs with 0,45 to see the weight in kilos. Simple as that
com202
Apparently I'm the only one who didn't know the conversion. Thanks everybody you all made my life easier. Jason \\m//
porky
2.20462262lbs = 1 kiggy to do it in ur head. take like 45kg x 2 = 90lbs now you just need to find the 0.2 of 45kg, which is easy. just go 0.1 x 45kg = 4.5kg (just move the decimal over to the left 1 space) and then 4.5kgx2 =9 (now u have 0.2 of 45 kg) now just add that up and you have 90lbs+9lbs = 99lbs = 45kg so to review. step 1 -take ur kgs multiply it by two. step 2- take the kigs move the decimal to the left 1 spot, then times that number by 2. step 3- now add those 2 numbers together and you have it in lbs. done all in your head. NIST? http://ts.nist.gov/ts/htdocs/200/202/mpo_home.htm
climber511
My bumper plates are all kilos and it's pounds on everything else so in the beginning I made up a chart that's still on the wall. The chart saves my brain when I'm too tired to do it in my head quickly and helps anyone who stops in for a workout figure out what they did. If you don't want to make your own, I'll be glad to send you a spreadsheet of mine or there are some places on the net you can find it as well. The chart also lets you do # to kilos which I can't do in my head.

Elfer
Just use google calculator if you need to do conversions. Go to google, and type in something like "450 pounds in kilograms" or "640000 metres in miles" Seems like not many people know about this, but it's useful. tselegala
like mentionned above 2.2 is the magic number, it's really just baby math; lbs to Kg------> divide lbs by 2.2 ex: 250lbs/2.2 =113.6Kg Kg to lbs-------> MULTIPLY by 2.2 ex: 113.6 Kg X 2.2 =250 lbs Unit conversion factor from Inches to mm is 25.4 (there are 25.4 mm per inch), 2.54 cm per inch; 0.254 decimeters per inch; 0.0254 meters per inch....there are 1.6 KM per mile...
