Funnily (or not) enough I've done 1067 in a partial deadlift and one time I had 900+ on there and one hand opened up and I dropped that end of the bar. Yet no injury. On the other hand my disc bulge I have now is mostly down to the one hand lifts I've done.

Mobster you said your is mostly do to one hand lifts? How? and how can I prevent hurting myself with these... did you do somthing out of the ordinary or foolsih to get it? I dont want to hurt mine any worse.

As per another post - train your weaknesses. I'm far stronger right handed than left and so there's an imbalence.

Just 2 more training days for me and there's 7 days to the big event. Wish me luck boys I'm going in...

Don't forget - u come, u cheer, we lift more. It'll be a good crack (esp after in the bar!).

Yer right Steve it's the imbalance. I have seen it for years in my squats and deads. Have tried to do many things for it but no luck. I have Ed looking into some training techs, I am thinking the weakness is from some childhood injuries. Been in all sports since the age of 6. I know one think my abs are scared, core training like crazy when I get back from the comp. and have to lossing 45# too. I will get it all balanced out. Lessons in life sure do hurt sometimes. :cry
