Mikael Siversson
Yes, very well done David, Viktor and Johan. Not an awful lot between no 1 and no 4 (Steve), so a real close competition.

Mikael Siversson
I am not sure about the others. Arne will probably post the results tomorrow. I think Kalle Lane finished last as he bombed out in bending.

David Horne
Well, a big congratulations to David Hurzeler! Thought you could be a suprise package. I'm just back from the 'V' Rock festival so I have missed the excitement unfolding. Once again well done, and also big respect to all the other contestants. Arne
I'm just coming home (2 AM lokal time) after a total cleaning of my gym, my wife helped me of course. I'm sorry but i'm too tired to print the results tonight. I'll do the first thing tomorrow.
Mikael Siversson
I think it is safe to say that David won the competition (besides being strong) largely because of his superior preparation. He dominated the one hand lift and I think he is the only one of the competitors that has a one hand lift set up almost identical to the one used in the competition. At this level you can't afford not being very well prepared. Some of the competitors, especially Mario, could have pulled 300k as well in the one hand lift had they practised their technique in this lift. It is good to see that thorough preparation and professional attitude pays off. Well done David and very well deserved. Tom of Iowa2
WOULD be great to see some photos(when the dust settles and you folks have time).Especially of those one handed lifts!
Mikael Siversson
I must also take the opportunity to congratulate Viktor who was in the lead throughout the competition right up until bending. There should be room for much improvement for next years Euro. Quite amazing that the European record holder in grippers is only 18 years old. Definitely a possible #4 closer in the future. Mikael Siversson
A classic one: Quoting Mobster: I dunno Viktor, I've just looked at why David said that and you have some good numbers. Your left hand gripper is good - I may just beat it (right hand I'll crush you he he), your two hand pinch is my equal.
