This session I started and finnished with 1 minute Dexterity Balls per hand. I trained RT at 85% of max and get good time holds with both Rigthy and Lefty, corresponding to maxlifts of 146,5 and 153,75 lbs. I even got a quite good timehold in pinch at 40,75 lbs/16 seconds. Mr.Forearm Posted August 21, 2005 Author Share Posted August 21, 2005 (edited) SLEDGEHAMMER SESSION SUNDAY W33 - 2005 ZZ Top - ZZ Top´s First Album I have prioritated Rolling Thunder a long time, but now I had ake under my rigth side of trapezius, so I will have to rest from this training for some time. I will now prioritate sledgehammer training with the IM Heavy Hammer to strengthen the wrists. A big exampel in the art of sledgehammerlevering is Slim "The Hammerman" Farman, who are nearly 80 years, but wery good in levering heavy sledges. If my trapezius don´t heal I would continue to train with my heavy hammer, to if possible managed to repeat is feats. This session started with 1 minute Dexterity Balls per hand. (this is two 21 ounces steelballs that you rotate in the hands.) After that I trained with my Ivanko Super Gripper and did 2 workingsets with good results. Finnished with sledgetraining with HeavyHammer. IVANKO SUPER GRIPPER warm up r & l 92 lbs/10 & 10 113/7 & 7 workingsets r & l 137/11 & 14 137/7 & 8 SLEDGETRAINING WITH HEAVY HAMMER workingsets front 5,5 lbs/12 5,5/10 Supersetted with rear 5,5 lbs/12 5,5/10 ABS Crunches 3 set x 20 reps @ 22 lbs, supersetted with: Twist 3 set x 10 reps Bent 3 set x 10 reps.
