FrankyBoy
Damn, I'm talking much too much. Austin,This is a Franky boy invention. So I'm trying it out. David ← Did some hub lifts today. Mainly to scare my opponents. Check the vid out: Me, hub-lifting 25kg (55lb) Besides that I tried that morning if I can get air under 95kg in the 2-hand pinch. No way, I even tried it with a pre-tilt by putting one side of my apparatus on some plates: Nothing. Later the day a real training session is planned. FrankyBoy
Pinching with gloves 0x76,5kg nothing 0x76,5kg little hoover 0x76,5kg little hoover From now on those 76,5 will be always my first weight, til I can break them off the ground. Then I'll increase the weight for the first attempt. I'm hoping for a full DL of 80kg til august. 71,5kgx2s 66,5kgx5s 61,5kgx10s Can wait to test myself on the original euro setup. climber511
I went and got a full body massage today - pretty neat - my wife gave it to me for my birthday last year and I just got around to it today. I trained Weds evening so I'll list what I did then. Sandbags 130# overhead for 3 150# overhead for 1 150# to shoulder (each) for 3 sets of 1 200# to each shoulder for 1 200# bearhug carry for 100 ft. I listed the sandbags because they do work my grip somewhat. I did front squats, snatches, glute hams as well. my Pinch set up is 2 - 45# plates with a pipe in them for now. My Americanized Euro set up will be done soon I hope. My pipe and collars set up weighs about 5#. 95# for 3 115# for 3 135# for 1 155# for 1 175# for 1 195# for miss - no liftoff Blob for 3 DL right hand Blob for zero left hand - I think it moved a little once COC sport for 50 each hand Light levering all directions Finished up with a little Powerball at the end. I forgot to mention I went climbing on the climbing wall Thursday evening for about an hour. Edited July 8, 2005 by climber511

climber511
My pinch apparatus is close to finished but I still need two 1/4" pieces of rubber so I can have a width of 2.5". I used the setup as is the other day(2"). I got 170# and failed on 180. Steel is very slick and I hope things improve as seasoning occurs. And the other 1/2" may also make a difference - if not, I'm in a lot of trouble in the Frankie, David , Chris contest.

DuTCH
That's a nifty idea, putting a tea towel over the top.. I'll give that a try. Makes it really hard to pinch!
