alexprime
Hey people, I am new so dont bite me I am a martial artist and dont have much equipment at hand so I was thinking of getting one of those new powerballs, the Iron one. Is it possible to make good progress in strength with it? I study wing chun, so I need all aspects of grip power really, forearm strength too. (using a barbell to train the forearms) Any advice would be welcome, you guys sound like you know ur stuff! Alex
kerbjr
I think it is best used for active recovery, it is the best tool I have ever used for this, but as far as strength gains I doubt you will see much inprovement...Brett
turtlefiend
I've got 3 powerballs. It doesn't seem like there's a lot of strength to it and using them is not something I even like doing.
Scott Styles
I'd suggest you get a block weight or heavy duty hand gripper to start.
