Gluteus Maximus
Not enormous(8.25-8.5ish between left and right), but function is my main concern. Does a certain brand run slightly larger, or do I have to order with request from the BB fabricator?

Gluteus Maximus
I know the info's in here somewhere, but do you know offhand how their strength rates next to the BBelite and BBsuper elite?
Gluteus Maximus
ryaneverk2 I just read the thread below this one and people are writing the HG's have a narrower spread. Are the 400 and 500 special in some way? I use my hands on more things than grippers and I think it wise to get this right.
GatorGrip
Ironmind Grippers CoCs seem to have a fairly consistent wide spread between the handles. My Widest Grippers Measure: IM #3 - 3 1/8" IM #2 - 3" IM #1 - 3" HG 500 # 55 - 3 5/8" The rest of my HGs seem to hover between 2 3/8" & 2 5/8" they are made narrow but many people really like that fact, especially if they don't have huge paws. ryaneverk2
I'm not sure on the spread, but look at these pictures from cubanbee's thread: http://pic17.picturetrail.com/VOL827/14363...16/90171999.jpg http://pic17.picturetrail.com/VOL827/14363...16/90171997.jpg They're monsters. : And here is a picture Oldguy posted of an HG500, compared to a CoC gripper: http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups...8588AUT0902.JPG That should settle the size concerns. I'm not sure about the lower number Hg's, though.... Edited March 26, 2005 by ryaneverk2

FrankyBoy
You think the HG500 is big??? Well, check this pic: Puppet hand meets HG500 Thats my hand (7.55") vs the HG500.
showlarson
Holy hell Franky that is a large gripper!!
Patrik_F
That is a monster. It would be cool to try a gripper with slightly thinner handles than the standard Ironmind ones. Maybe that would help guys with average or smaller hands. It would be harder at the close but you would get a much better angle at the sweep. OldGuy
For some reason my HG500 looks like a normal size gripper. http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups...3739AUT0903.JPG
