What Brand Grippers Are Better For Larger Hands?

Not enormous(8.25-8.5ish between left and right), but function is my main concern. Does a certain brand run slightly larger, or do I have to order with request from the BB fabricator?

The HG400/HG500 have ENORMOUS handles on them... they're real fat. Maybe give those a try. :D

I know the info's in here somewhere, but do you know offhand how their strength rates next to the BBelite and BBsuper elite?

I just read the thread below this one and people are writing the HG's have a narrower spread. Are the 400 and 500 special in some way? I use my hands on more things than grippers and I think it wise to get this right.

Ironmind Grippers CoCs seem to have a fairly consistent wide spread between the handles.

My Widest Grippers Measure:

IM #3 - 3 1/8"

IM #2 - 3"

IM #1 - 3"

HG 500 # 55 - 3 5/8"

The rest of my HGs seem to hover between 2 3/8" & 2 5/8" they are made narrow but many people really like that fact, especially if they don't have huge paws.

I'm not sure on the spread, but look at these pictures from cubanbee's thread:

They're monsters. :whacked:

And here is a picture Oldguy posted of an HG500, compared to a CoC gripper:

That should settle the size concerns. :yikes:blink I'm not sure about the lower number Hg's, though.... :sleep

That is a monster. It would be cool to try a gripper with slightly thinner handles than the standard Ironmind ones. Maybe that would help guys with average or smaller hands. It would be harder at the close but you would get a much better angle at the sweep.
