BJones
I have been focusing on the grippers for a few months and had a good PR yesterday: Closed the #3 for 3 singles with my R hand - with a set. The last close was observed by Steve Cotter. Now on to widening the set and getting to the credit card width. I got some great advice at the grip gathering - I had gotten sloppy with my setting technique and was able to clean it up and get the gripper in the sweet spot. Thanks Pavel, Clay and Zach - goes to show what skilled eyes can pick out and what we miss without outside feedback. Brett
JamesG
I would love to hear how you have been training to close the #3. ALso how does Pavel train the grippers? Great job on the #3 close!
BJones
James - Thanks - I have been using the GTG technique with a #3 and a BBGM - GTG is grease the groove - basically you do singles throughout the day (usually between 3-5 for me) I have been doing forced reps - (set the gripper - squeeze as far as you can - then force it closed and then remove the help and hold it as closed as possible for 3-5 seconds) Brett Edited December 15, 2004 by BJones
