DAN PRAYDIS Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 HI if you are looking for a good change in training for the blob take 2 dumbells and set them plate to plate. at our gym they have a rubber washer with a nut inside to hold the plates on . them plus the plates is about 4 1/2 inches wide grip them and pick them up . the way you are doing this the gravity is pulling the plates apart so you have to pinch extra hard to lift them we did two 25lb dumbells and can now hold them for time try this and it might increase your blob lifting if your plates dont measure 4 1/2 inches cut plywood or rubber matting to put between your plates alot of you cant find a blob but you can train for one until you get it or go to a competition have fun and train hard working on doing the thirty pounders now see ya Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
