Sleeping With Gloves Or Mittens?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. I Hope I'm doing this right. Being my first post and all. I've heard and read a couple of things about sleeping with gloves or mittens on when grip training. unfortunatly it didn't explain the reason. Could anyone help me out on this top? And does it really help? Thanks

increase blood circulation at night. Supposed to speed up recovery

But for me any type of heat gave me arthritis for some reason and the mittens only hurt me. Most will say this can not be but for me it be

Increased circulation helps me, but not as much as contrast baths

And it really does help?...contrast baths and the gloves? I'll have to try them! Would this be everyday or when? OH. And do you guys use any heat lotion or anything like that?

I only use heat liniment on my back, shoulders and knees, never on my hands or forearms. Contrast baths should be done at the least after every workout, but if you're up for it, do them every day. Active recovery like ball rotation should be every day. Mitten I'd say every night, although whoever you're sleeping next to might not like them.
