Did some fun stuff today. Broke out the AA and did a series of twists, parrys, thrusts, etc while holding it like a polearm. I focused on the deceleration and I got a great core workout. Kicked my ass fast.

I also rigged up a barbell in the power rack w/some mini bands and did some wrist curls, both one and two hand.

Gripper work - T-2 x a few squeezes, 3/3.5/4 x Hard Squeeze

54min walk

Got bored, so I went and did some hammer curls w/ the "little big horn" from Ironmind.

25x5, 35x5, 50x3

Excellent exercise - hits the wrist and lower arms real good.

Nice rowing with the RT. What can you lift on it, regular deadlift?? You have the handsize and strength to lift wordclass numbers on the RT I bet!!!

BTW, have you ever thought of signing up for the MM certs? I reckon you should be able to do the MM1 and MM2 even using No-Sets, seeing that you can almost close the #3.5 in this manner!!!

Last question: why do you type a Hard Squeeze on the 330N, when you posted a video of 5 reps on it recently? I don't get it.

Heres the best I've ever done on the RT - an attempt at 235lbs in plates - was pretty close, wish I would've got it

I tend to be hit and miss with the grippers - I'm trying to change that now with more frequent training. A "hard squeeze" for me is an all out effort, like an overcrush. Do that for several sets with 3.5's, 4's, SE's, HG500, etc and my hands get a little tired - hence the poor performance on the 330N. Towards the end of my gripper training, all of the hard grippers tend to stop in the more, open sweep position. I throw in the 330N or a #3 at the end to get a little work at the closed range.

I"d like to start the MM certs, but closing the 3.5 is my immediate goal.

No, I'd sure like to though. I've come close to buying one, but that $500 price tag (with shipping) is just a tad too much. I'll bite the bullet one of these years though.

Hammer Strength 4way Neck - 25x25, 35x25, 45x15

Gonna try the overhead squats tomorrow with the weight suspended by chain - should be a blast. I picked up a Hammer Strength 4way Neck machine off Craigslist today for $99.00 (great condition too). I'm so stoked about it as I've been looking for one for a few years now :rock:rock:rock:rock:rock:rock:rock

The chain suspended stuff is awesome - forces perfect form. Any of you who complain they cant squat or whatnot with out fancy racks and such get some chain and loading pins and get to work.
