Woke up with a pretty bad head cold but felt better as the day went on so I figured I’d try and do something. 

3” trilobite thumbless: 65x7, 75x5R/3L, 90x5R, 65x5L, 100x5R, 110x3R, 120x0R 

Tried some wrist wrench and hub after but couldn’t get much done. Left hand has been really weak lately and left wrist was especially weak today

Had a friend come over to train again. Did seated overhead press, dips, 2” handle landmine rows, kettlebell towel curls, 2” handle farmers walks. Did less weight more reps, short rest. I hate training like that but he loves it and I need to do it. 

Then some 

IM hub: 46.7x3, 51.7x3, 56.7x1, 61.7x1, 64.2 for a 5 lb pr (left only)

For all of my complaining about how my left hand has been weak lately, it’s always stronger on the hub for some unknown reason

2" axle dl with straps (conventional): 200x5, 250x5, 300x3, 320x3x, 340x3 

2" Trilobite: 115x5, 140x3, 150x2L/3R, 160x3R, 140x5L, 160x3R, 140x5L 

Really wanted to go heavier on the dl's but a few times I felt really weak and almost like I could pass out. Will save dl's for weekends in the future when I eat before training. Used straps to save my grip and try to get a baseline for the 2" trilobite

2” Napalms Nightmare: 247x5, 297x5, 317x3, 342x1, 367x1(PR), 382x0 

Shifted hands way too far to the left on last NN to try and help left hand. Got it off the ground but right hand failed. Too much weight on that hand I think.

Friend came over, estimated numbers. 

3” seated oh press: bar plus ~60# of chains and 2 10# plates hanging by bands. Probably 5 sets of 5-7 reps. Never done this before, very unstable. 

2” axle thumbless reverse curls: ~3 sets of ~10 reps with ~55# 

Power curls with oly bar: (from ground) 155x3, 155x3, 155x3 

3” Trilobite: 90x3, 100x3, 90x5, 90x5, 75x7, 75x7

Lots of mobility; armbars, prying goblet squats, band dislocates, light high rep concentration curls, rolled forearms with barbell sleeve (highly recommended), then some

IM hub: 41x3, 46x5, 51x3, 53.5x3, 56x3

5x10 radial and ulnar deviation with 16# sledge 

Index and middle finger on right hand feeling stiff and achy lately. Think it's time to give them a break. Will I? Who knows.

Second workout today, used straps

2” axle deadlifts from blocks (conventional): 275x3, 295x3, 325x3

Then added chains, ~50# at the top 

325x2, 325x3, 345x3, 345x3, 345x3 (all plus chains)

First time doing this. My “blocks” are car ramps. Center of bar about 20 inches off the ground. Kind of a weird height for me, about 2 inches below knee, would love it to be just above my kneecap.

To say my posterior chain is sore this morning would be putting it lightly

2.5” Trilobite: 105x3, 130x2L/3R, 140x1R, 150x1R (PR I guess, only second time using it), 155x0R

Slept like garbage last night, pretty happy with today. Got 397 off the ground twice with the NN, @Mike Rinderle you said 400 was possible this year, I’m thinking higher!

Standing pronation curls: (piece of webbing with plates) 20#x10, 25#x10, 25#x10 

2H plate pinch wrist curls: 25#x15, 35#x7, 35#7 

Started to do some thumbless 3” Trilobite but neither wrist felt particularly interested so I scrapped it 

Some pronation/supination with webbing/loading pin 3x35 and 3x15 respectively

Need to do more dips. Left wrist still weird.

AASS 2 3/8” wrist wrench: 52x5, 62x3, 72x3R, 62x3L, 77x1R, 62x3L

2” Trilobite: 140x3, 150x2L/3R, 160x3R, 150x2L, 165x2R, 150x2L

Pretty happy with wrist wrench as I haven’t used it since I hit 84# a month ago. Will replace thumbless trilobite with wrist wrench, feels much better.

Towel hammer curl: 70# in plates 5x7

2”x4” Napalms Nightmare: 120x3, 145x3, 170x2, 195x1, 205x1, 205x1, 215x1 

First time with any type of pinch block, ever. Pretty happy with 215. Might go back for more later. 

Used a small pack of Friction Labs Unicorn Dust that I just got, wasn’t too happy with it. Got slimy after a while

Trying to use as little tilt as possible, feels much harder than with intentional tilt.

Little disappointed with Trilobite. 140x1R wasn’t too hard, only did 1 so I could go for a new PR but couldn’t even get 150 off the ground after that. Oh well.

3 sets each pronation/supination and ulnar/radial deviation, higher reps with moderate weight

3” Trilobite: 85x7; 95x3, 105x1R, 105x0R 

3” was so hard after 2”.

Also put my 2” Napalms Nightmare on the Trilobite frame, couldn’t even budge 180. I assume it’s because of the axle to hole ratio? Anyone ever try this? Is it a felony?

Still not feeling strong today, not sure what’s going on. Hub and wrist wrench felt decent but Trilobite was just impossible. Oh well, something is always better than nothing.
