The DU session went OK today.  I'm still having some pain in the outside wrist, and took things slow.  It almost seems like it feels the best when I'm bending, and hurts with anything else I do.

My left wrist has been bothering me for a few weeks now, and I've been trying to work around it, mostly successfully.  DU has been OK, but moderately painful across the past few sessions.  It doesn't seem to be affecting DO nearly as much, with the wrist angle.  Today actually felt pretty good, so I decided to try one of my rated 6" O1 bars (585).  Turned out to be a mistake.  After a decent hit and some initial movement, way too hard of a bar for right now, with the wrist issues.  Anyway, it is feeling a lot worse and hurts to pronate or supinate it.  😧

I started out with straight-bar on presses, but it was causing too much wrist pain, so I decided to switch to the neutral-grip bar, which felt fine.  Pull-ups were OK too.

Reverse felt OK up until the 1/4 x 7" drill rod.  Had to take a ton of hits on it, alternating back-and-forth, right-and-left.  I started having trouble too with using my left hand to set with the 20mm block.  I might have no choice but to back off on the DU over the next few weeks, to hopefully let things heal up.  Or at least curtail my DU attempts at the Big Bastard, which seems to have started this to begin with.

I took it slow with double-underhand and everything felt stable.  Still feeling the wrist pain, but it didn't get any worse throughout the session, so I hit a grade 5 and 18/64 bar, which might have been O1 and not CRS (prob mixed them up as I have a supply of both).

I normally don't mess around with CCS on closes, but grabbed the card today unplanned.  It is as awkward as I can remember.  After I get a wide set, I have to re-open the handles, losing contact with my pinky to swipe the card.  Doing this really killed my sweep.  I'm sure if I work at it, and the technique, I might be able to get up to an easier #2.5, but I'll likely do CCS reps every now-and-then to change things up.  Pretty humbling

The 175 rep on standing barbell press was pretty sloppy ... almost hesitant to call it a "rep."  I got a new dip belt recently for my birthday and am going to start working weighted pull-ups in more.  It was my first time trying this and getting 3 (good) reps with 25lbs. was tough!

I did a 1-2 second pause on the 315 bench and it was tough.  Bench doesn't feel super-strong, but not weak.  I have been hovering right around 198-199 the past week, so maybe age, and being down a few pounds (closer to 205 the past few months) is starting to show in the numbers more-and-more.

My knee and hip were starting to bother me on the lighter reps, so I knew it might be rough, when I attempted to go heavier.  I couldn't get any power out of the hole with the miss.  I attempted to regroup, and then made another attempt (with light wraps), and got it OK.  I should have just used wraps on the first attempt, giving that things were feeling weak.

My wrist started to hurt when I was setting the 108 gripper.  I couldn't get a good set on the 117, due to the pain, but was still able to get a close.  I tried some reverse bending, but it was causing too much pain, so I stopped.
