Was feeling like doing some pinch today. Started on the euro 2HP but baby woke up from nap just before start of 2nd work set. I went ahead and did reps til I didn't think I could get another instead of the planned 5x3reps. Then got the baby.

I think I'm gonna try to deload this week, then bump the intensity level down a smidge when I come back. Still got a nice deep ache in the hands and forearms today from Sunday. Also pulled out the Pinch Secret Weapon I built I few years ago or Cthulu as I call it from the shed and may have to figure out a way to work that in when I get back to it after the deload. Metal is in for the new Inch handle as well. Maybe I can get that turned once I knock out a couple of other things on my backlog. Oh yeah and I need to go pick up the steel for the new Hub trainers today too.

Had a nice deload the last week. Forearms and hands still a little tight and achy after a week off so that is a pretty good indicator that my intensity level combined with volume were a bit too high. Did a very light brief gripper session on Saturday and biofeedback tested yesterday with grippers and decided it was no good after start of warmup so called it quits on Sunday. Also went sledding with Daughter on Saturday for the first time. Dinged back an left knee a little but feeling better after icing. Will see how squats go next time I try them. Will test again today through Weds and find good day to start back.

Gripper work last night. Was kinda late and I felt like just going to bed by the time I started. Pushed through anyway. Not everything was where I wanted as a result but not too bad. Squats and grippers supersetted.

Never really gave it much thought. Don't want my legs any bigger as I still wear through jeans where my legs rub together pretty quickly and I haven't squatted heavy since the late 90's.
