JohanB
Yesterday my sister gave me a nice horseshoe (used) and now I wonder how hard this one is to bend? It is a number 4 and I belive it´s a Lite. I had a go at it as soon as I got it but with no previous experience with bending horseshoes I had zero technique and I could not even kink it. I guess it´s better to start with a smaller horseshoe but I just take what I get and this time it was a No. 4.
MikeP
I wouldn't start at a 4.
Clay Edgin
No. 4's are pretty tough, even used. The sizes go from 000, 00, 0-8. No. 8's are about the size of shoes worn on big ol draft horses!
JohanB
Hehe, yeah, I know I should not start with a No.4 but hey, it´s all I have for the moment. I´m sure I can get my hands on smaller shoes since my sister used to ride alot and her friends still do. My question still remains tough, how hard is a No.4 in terms of pounds?
