FrankyBoy
I received my PDA Blobette last week and got the filling material this week. I was surprised by the actual size of that monster. (Compared to my 7 5/8 hand). The only reason I bought it was Bills successful lift of the original blob. Yesterday I made the first serious attempts and went up to 39lbs total. How would you rate this?
SqeezeMasterFlash
Quite good! That should put you in the range of easily lifting the 40lb York. Nice work!

maidenfan
Yes, nice work. I found its a bit slicker than the York blobs I have.
foggymountainmuscle
I've never seen a real blob in real life before. How wide is it compared to your hand Franky? More specifically what joints of the thumb and fingers are in contact with the sides?
FrankyBoy
Michael, I will do a small video of my hand petting the blobette.
FrankyBoy
Michael, that might give you an idea of the Blob: My hand (7 5/8) vs the Blobette
Bill Piche
Franky, 40lbs is a great start. I don't think you'll have any problem getting a 50 with some dedicated training. Pinch is a weird beast with me. I often get better in a workout the more and more singles I perform. It's very NSC (nervous system centric). foggymountainmuscle
40lbs. is good. What with the width wouldn't that be like lifting a 42.5lbs. blob? I don't have alot of blob experience so I'm just guessing. It's good to see you got a fair amount of your thumb and fingers on each side of the blob, I was worried that my hand would be too small to lift the blob. How do cleans and snatches feel with the blobette? Can you do them with it or does it jolt the case and the grip too much?

When I've cleaned my blob I've done it fairly slowly, so it doesnt affect the grip too much.
handgripperman
That thing is huge compared to your hand

Honestly, I didn't even dare to snatch it up to now. Main reason is that the blobette has some moving lead shot inside which I guess will feel strange when being curled up. Have to give it a shot. FrankyBoy
That thing is huge compared to your hand Yeah, and thats exactly what it feels like. My widest pinch grip block is 3 1/2". The Blobette is around 4" at the outer rim and about 5" in diameter where my finger tips are touching it. Now thats big.
