No disrespect to anyone who closed a 3 with the original rules, but that is what I expect to see when you certify. That is awesome, just enough to get your fingers around the gripper and then bam....way to go.

I tried it on my own using the same #3 and missed it by about 3mm (~1/8").

Not an official attempt of course.

Funny thing is that Martin tried to certify with his left hand first since he is left-handed. That attempt he missed but was very close.

Then he closed it right-handed quite easily. :mosher

Martin told me that the still shots I extracted from the video have been accepted by IM.
