nagual Posted August 4, 2004 Share Posted August 4, 2004 Just taped the handle of one of my dumbbells with almost a full roll of tape. It looks like an oversized cigar, thickest in the middle where it measures 2.6 inches. It's great! Haven't done any thickbar training worth mentioning, and I tried a light workout today doing some presses, rows and hammers/curls... and my grip and wrist is totally fried! I love it! Funny thing is that I still had pinching strength afterwards as I did some decent plate pinches, but crushing strength... forget it! Had a hard time closing my 130 RB.... Since my gripper training has somewhat stalled as of lately, I think I'm going to work more with "the cigar"... should yield some good results. I'll post a pic of it whenever I get my camera working.
