dubthewonderscot Posted July 22, 2004 Share Posted July 22, 2004 www.mcmaster.com You have to hunt through "Raw Materials and Springs" then "Metals" then "Steel" (if that is the desired material, brass is cool too) then "Rods" then scroll down and choose the length I usually go with 3 foot segements which is listed as 36" (I think this is 2nd from the right) then choose your diameter and what alloy or finnish you want. done. Here is the direct link, any info on which of the 3 materials is similar to what is carried in Hardware stores? Air oil or water hardened are the options, I know nothing about materials. Good to know they have all this stock, I've been ordering from onlinemetals but they don't have nearly this much, but they are cheap and fast.
