strongmitts
Nice! Was this your Ironmind certification? Has anyone else ever done a 6.5" for a red certification?

gaster
Great job!! Even with a slip and re-wrap it was under a minute of bending time.
BJones
Thanks Wannagrip for getting this posted - unfortunately it wasn't the IM cert bend - I was bending in San Diego at a seminar. During the morning within a half-hour period I bent: 60d x 3, G5 x 1, and REDS 7", 6.5", and 6.75" I will be certing in Minneapolis this week and will post when this occurs. Thanks for all the kind words - I am very proud of reaching this level and will be going higher! Had a pretty good crowd for the bending - Quite a blast - Scared a few people with the intensity. Clay Edgin
I am downloading the video right now, but let me chine in with a "great job" There are actually several gripboard guys in San Diego and the surrounding area who would probably love to watch you bend a red and meet you. EricMilfeld
Excellent Brett! Only problem is, now I wanna go bend. By the way, Brett, what's your height and weight? You don't look huge, which makes your strength all the more impressive! Edited July 14, 2004 by EricMilfeld

DAN PETERSON
Great Job. The grade 5 video is worlds apart from the red.
BJones
Thanks guys! Clay - I will touch base with you before I am out in San Diego again and try to get something lined up. Eric - I am about 5' 8" and between 175-180 lbs. Beastly - eh?? And Dan - you are too right about the difference between the G5 and the RED - funny - I think but it shows the progression. Wannagrip - thanks - your attentiveness is one of the reasons this board is awesome. again Thanks Brett

Z-man
Congrats Brett, that looked easy! 1 question, do you typically bend overhand or underhand? I noticed the G5 bend was double under, but the red was over. Just curious, they both looked great

Dan Cenidoza
Brett Jones, I had a dream that I bent a red nail last night. I'm not much on bending, don't spend hardly any time doing it and never even thought it would be possible for me to bend a red, but I woke up this morning feeling that a red bend is in my future. Thank you for the vid!
