DAQ
Question for your veterans: Where does a 40d RS nail rate in difficulty? Where does it compare relating to COC in equality? Thanks
tmmicklabs
Bending nails and crushing grippers are 2 completly different things. A comparison between the 2 in not even possible. Sorry.
DAQ
ok...thanks. I had heard, for instance, that closing the #4 CoC is comparable to bending a red nail. I didn't know if there had been more comparisons made in regards to levels of accomplishments between the two.
Clay Edgin
You can compare the feats; just look at how many people have accomplished each. It can be then argued that one feat is harder than another. All figures are approximate based on personal knowledge. And I may have added people who have done the feat but are not officially recognized: 8 #4 closers vs. 13 red nail benders - I'd say the #4 is more world class since fewer people have done it. NOTE: there are 12 BBE closers, plus another couple I know of, so I would say that a BBE close and a bent red are about equal in terms of world class-ness (if that is even a word) Now, a 6.5" red may be equally as difficult as a #4 close based on the number of people who have done it. Mikael Siversson
NOTE: there are 12 BBE closers, plus another couple I know of, so I would say that a BBE close and a bent red are about equal in terms of world class-ness (if that is even a word) I think there are more BBE closers. The Swedes that have closed a BBE in competition include: Benny Wennberg (left+right) Mikael Siversson (left+right) Johan Albrektsson (right) Jonas Svaren (right) Arne Persson (right) In addition I have personally watched Joakim Palmqvist close one of my BBE's.
