SomeKid
My friend brought a "powerball" today. I looked at it and thought it was pretty cool, anybody use this for grip training? I'm not entirely sure how useful it would be. www.powerballs.com

Clay Edgin
I have heard some strong guys talk favorably about these things.
FrankyBoy
I consider them more as a great rehab tool. Worked with one my paralyzed hand in the first months of recovery. Great since they stress the extensors and flexors in the wrist very uniformly. If you get strong twist faster.

Sybersnott
I have heard some strong guys talk favorably about these things. Oh c'mon. Isn't this thing more of a gimmick than anything else? :stuart
Guest Hakfupai
Yes, but some people probably think that grippers are a gimick and look at how obsessed some people can get.

smitty
yes, very awesome product - get one definitely. It is a great rehab/prehab tool
tmmicklabs
I have one of these and they are great to use right before your grip workout. About 2 minutes on each hand is enough to get the blood flowing in the forearms real good. I got mine at Galyans Sporting Goods for 20 bucks. young'un
i got one for $25 at an rei in college park. it's a lot of fun just to play with (kind of like chinese worry balls/heavier shot for shot rotations) and a good warm-up for hand stuff if i haven't done any sort of compound lift to get the blood flowing first. 33wes
The powerball version of the twister appears to be a more advanced version of the $20.00 version found in the stores. According to their site, one can produce much more rpms than the store version as one gets stronger. It looks like it might be a good addition to the ball rotation work, or for wrist strength/dexterity.
ulgrim
I ordered one just for the hell of it -- if it's no good I can always send it back for a full refund
