gamidon
Nice bend, do you get off center because you are not holding it centered in your hands? or is it something else? Greg
BJones
Great bend Clay - those shorter G5s are a treat. Awesome work and drool is cool. Brett

3Crusher
Clay, Nice work. Just wait until this happens to you with a grade 8 or a red nail. Talk about having some fun. Steve
Clay Edgin
Thanks guys. I should have gone after the grade 8 last night, but was pretty happy with this bend. Not sure how it ended up so off center because it felt right in my hands, but with a bend this short, my index fingers were touching so it was hard to get a good grip on it. Once I felt like it was in the sweet spot in my hands I just went for it. The red nail is still on the horizon. I can get one kinked to about 10 degrees underhand and felt it flexing when I turned it over and tried it overhand. I've done a few of them braced where I'll do the first 30-40 degrees of the bend over a barbell and then finish it off unbraced, and that seems to help me get an idea of how tough these things are. mobsterone
I've done a bunch of off centre bars - it's all good as it means you can bend shorter bars when the time comes. I am coming up fast but think you'll get the red just before me - keep going dude!!
jad
Great job Clay. Are you still racing your buddy to the Red?
EricMilfeld
Nice bend, do you get off center because you are not holding it centered in your hands? or is it something else?Greg Speaking only for myself, I've noticed that if I really have to fight the initial kink I'm prone to off-center bends. And of course not positioning your fingers symmetrically on the bar is another reason.
