Griparn
I think this is a good idea. More people will start bending now I guess.
Ray Hansford
It's a damn good idea. Can't wait till it's my turn to certify. (About 6 months)

RSW
You guys better certify before Strossen outlaws "folding" nails. Interesting article. I am very impressed that Brookfield can barehand bend a Red without bracing. We also found out that his friend Steve Jeck was his witness for the 6" Red. I am very impressed that Brookfield can barehand bend a Red without bracing. We also found out that his friend Steve Jeck was his witness for the 6" Red. With Strossen as your friend and the right witness, you can do anything! The events Brookfield has chosen are a crock. They are more like stunts that strongmen perform. No doubt the ones he himself is best at.
HAMMERHEAD
Oldguy- I love you man but come on! All the crap we do are stunts that strongmen perform. It's a Steel Bending contest, not a Nail bending contest. It's Brookfields so he can pick the events, and I think he's picked events that cover a lot of the Steel Bending bases. At least hand size won't be a factor! (sorry I had to throw that one in) -HH

jad
Am I missing something or is Big Steve not on the list?? I thought Ostlund was certifed too??
David Ostlund
jad, I am not certified yet. I tried a few weeks ago and couldn't fully bend a red for the cert. I don't think it was a tough red or anything, I just wasn't strong enough that day. I bent again on saturday and did some of my tough 1/4" square stock. Hopefully we'll be able to certify on stuff at Feats with Hands.
jad
Thanks for clearing that up. I appreciate it.
SqeezeMasterFlash
Big Steve isn't on the list, but is mentioned as a Red nail bender in the Brookfield article. Strange.
