maidenfan
and go to Home Depot to purchase your bending stock. This is probably old news to most of you but I've been lazy for a while. Went to the local steel scrap yard and purchased a new 3/16" cr x 20 foot piece for $2.40. I paid almost $2.00 for a 3 foot section at Home Depot. I also picked up a used 10' section of 1/4" hr for .25 cents a pound (~.42cents for the 10' section). I paid $2 something for a 3' section at Lowes recently. A little rusty, but who cares. MikeP
Ask for the "drops" pile and see what you can find. They'll usually give you small pieces or sell by the pound. Way cheaper than any store. Don't ever go there unless you just HAD to. Then don't buy bar, just TT buckets and nails.
