Congrats Eric - another 60 kilos on my challenge bars and I'll have a go at one. Another Gripboard member bends, squeezes and lifts whatever Randall throws at us!!

Wow Eric, great bend and great video!! the intensity is super, i can tell this bend took complete mental focus. do you find it easier to start with the overhand bend now? have you noticed any negative side effects with this style, like muscle imbalance in your hands? keep up the great work!

Is that a 6 1/4" red I see? Nice job man. Heck, any unbraced bend of the red nail is very respectable!

Yep, that was a Red cut down to 6 1/4", which was a new PR for me. I felt good for 6" even on that night.

Anson, I've been doing this style for almost two months now, and I really like it. No, there's no muscle imbalance, unlike the reverse grip which obviously could produce an imbalance. The only thing I have to watch for doing this style is sore forefingers, which I keep in check with proper form, as well as limiting my bending to once a week.

Jedd, in a few weeks I'll take a crack at 5 3/4" Red, and then go to work on cutting down Fat Bastard's 5/16" round stock.

Thanks everyone for all of the support and kind words!

And Deaner, way to go with that 5 1/2" Grd! That's awesome!

Wow, that's awesome Eric.

I've tried that style and I can't even bend a timber tie that way. That's amazing, and it's nice to see some big bends like that on video.

Terrific wrapping job Eric!

That was total intensity man, I didn't think you'd be able to keep the first side tight while you were wrapping up the other end, but, WOW! It looked about as perfect as you can get 'em!

Decent bend too...
