Zach Passman Posted May 24, 2004 Share Posted May 24, 2004 Small interest in the grip portion-- Winner was Mike Collete (sp?), took the first two events: Hub lift with 57.5 (I think), and RT with 170-something? I won the CoC event, pinching a quarter between the handles for max time. Strict curl had 5 or 6 competitors...Jack Lano set a master's record (80-84 age group), and a strong guy named Marshall won the contest, with 150-something. Also a master's record, I believe. Some confusion as to the administration of the contest--the next competition, we'll drum up some more competitors. Fun day at the beach, though. The local freakshow just rolls on in Venice. His 50th b-day was Wednesday so this was a nice present I'm sure.
