just a couple things someone mite wanna practice with.

git a tripod, turn the camera upwards, and towards one leg of the tripod. now straddle the adjacent leg. you will be slightly behind the camera and to the side of it. position the gripper and hand in front of the lens and check the veiwer to see if it looks good., now reach over top the camera and set/close the gripper.do your set/close 8-12" directley in front of the lens. dont watch the view screen, this will mess you up.have someone else watchin the screen and tell you if your in the screen or not. if your close enuff to the lens, your gonna be on the screen, maybe to the side,or high/low, but in it.

do this outside on bright day in the shade. inside you will need some backlight for the close to be crystal clear.a celing light lightly behind the tripod and a floor lamp postioned behind the camera near the opposite leg of the tripod you are staddlin works good.

dont try to git somone to hold the camera while you do this. unlike Heath, most of our womenfolk dont git it or care to try :) and the witness has more important things to be watchin. your buddy will mess it up. unintentional, but he will. unless you and him have been practicin doin it a certain way.

like rick has said, video gits tuffer as you near your limit, and this method aint easy, BUT will git more natural feeling with practice and will produce a nice video.
