Lyle
another KTA question, I'm shooting for IM#3 and looking for a stronger gripper to do the SON's and the NC's, did most of you use the IM#4 or a Grand Elite?
mooinabc1
It is better to use the BB Elite because it is stronger then the #3. #4 will hurt your hand if can do the #3 yet. #4 is just too strong. Using this method I can do BB master on the gripper. It is better to use the BB master the OC and use BB Elite for the NC instead of #3. Using this method I can do BB master and can use 1/8 inch Strap Hold of =12 pounds on it.
Bearcat 74
Use either one, it won't matter. The #4 has a .312" diameter spring, the Grand Elite has the same. The GE maybe a little bit tougher, but if you are going for a #3 close it maybe too tough. I say use the #4. The BBe is a good gripper to get as another goal. If you are fairly close on the 3, the #4 will be good.
gotenmyoou
I would recommend BB Elite, since #4 is way too hard.

Follow the program. You need the next gripper up. That's the #4. Unless you are a mile away and then the BBE may be a better intermediate. Heath is right on. One caveat... You must have mastered the number 2 first.

OldGuy
3/16'' or less is close. 1/2'' is a mile away.
