I'm strap holding 5 pounds in a #3 with the choker set at 3/4inch at the start. That way I don't waste energy setting the gripper. I'm still trying to get good enough to certify on the #3. I can close it on occasion but have not quite mastered it yet.

HI: Kyle102887

It would nice to heard from who set close the #4 and Strap hold.

I can strap hold 4.5 pounds on my adjsutable gripper set at 220 pounds.

Using 1/8 thick strap. My plan is to do 14 pounds before changing

to 1/16 strap hold.

Kyle can you the Beef Builder super gripper?

And can you strap hold the BB master?

Kyle can you the Beef Builder super gripper?

And can you strap hold the BB master?

To answer your first question, No I can't close the Super Master, but I will someday soon.

To answer your second question, Yes I can close the Master, but I have not mastered it well enough to use stape holds.

Keep Gripin'.........Kyle Howell :rock

why hasn't heath closed the #4 yet??

He has been closing it now numerous times for the last few months. He did it for Strossen at the arnold but Randy said the set was to deep.

If any one can do 35 lbs on #3 strap hold then it not a

problem to do #4 or is it a weaker #3. Then I would the

Grand master to how much could on it.

I think he said it was a easier #3. I don't quite understand what you mean by the GM. There are some very though GM's out there. Also just because you can strap hold 35 on a #3 doesn't mean you could close a #4. You could strap hold 70 with it. Theres more to closing a gripper than the last 1/8''. Even more so if you certify under IM's new rules.

A GM= Grand Master. A SM=Super Master. I'm not to sure where you are gettin your abreviations for grippers but I think it's a little off.

No he's not, he's correcting you. You posted the the GM = Super Master.

The GM = Grand Master and the SM = Super Master.

If people are correcting you It would be nice before hand to

say it and be straight forward about not after the fact.

Simple say Iam correcting you and say why

Sorry, but I don't know how much more straight forward one can get. Read this again. He says it's off and gives the proper definition.

Let's get back on topic. Thanks.

Here ya go. Nice and straight forward.

What you said is WRONG.

Here's the proper definition:

GM Means Grand Master.
