Ray Hansford Posted April 21, 2004 Posted April 21, 2004 I know I'm on KTA and not supposed to do any other grip stuff A friend of mine is an engineer and I told him the specs for the nails a while ago, He turned up today with some steel cut to white, green, and yellow specs. I put them all away except one white nail (just to try one) Wrapped it up and bent it pretty easily and thought I'll try the rest after KTA, But then I swear I heard the Green nail calling me from the cupboard , next thing I knew it was wrapped and in my hands ready to go. After attacking it for 2 mins, it was that great U shape we all love to see. I can see how bending is addictive, but I will wait till I certify before any more serious bending( I told my wife to hide the nails just in case) Quote Ray Hansford Current PB's 15 reps #2 1 rep #3 "If you think you can-You can, If you think you can't-You can't. king crusher Posted April 21, 2004 Posted April 21, 2004 how hard is bending??? ive never tried it, can i get the right nails at home depot? Quote
Ray Hansford Posted April 21, 2004 Author Posted April 21, 2004 Its very hard on the wrists, especially if you have the wrong technique. Type 'Poor mans bag of nails' in the search engine to get the specs. Quote Ray Hansford Current PB's 15 reps #2 1 rep #3 "If you think you can-You can, If you think you can't-You can't. gotenmyoou Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 How hard is the green nails. I've never bent anything other than cap opener (for beers). Quote Real name: Yuichi Yokoyama
FbaLLPlaya_53 Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 If you've never bent any nails before its pretty hard to explain what a green is like.. Quote Sean Fogale Tacoma, Washington If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.
DAN PETERSON Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 The green nail is short (5 inches) and since most people try it their first time it seems pretty hard. Once you develop your technique though its cake. Quote St. Paul Minnesota
