Too Tall Posted April 16, 2004 Share Posted April 16, 2004 I am hosting a bench press competition this weekend, and I am having a rolling thunder competition aswell. I emailed Randy Strossen about making this a qualifier for rolling thunder nationals, and he tallked it over with Dione Wessels and they both agreed to honor it as a qualifier. I think this is great If any of you are near the Athens, GA area and want to come over tomorrow and give it a shot, please let me know and I will give you directions. The qualifing total has to be atleast 175# to be eligible. My email is cwoodall@stmarysathens.org or you can call me at work (706) 613-9355. The competition will start around 9:00am tomorrow. Sybersnott Posted April 19, 2004 Share Posted April 19, 2004 chad, I probably would of loved to make the drive out to Athens - since I live in the metro-Atlanta are - and compete in the RT event.... but you have to give earlier notice then doing it just the day before the event. Will there be another RT qualifier coming up? I heard you might even do a strongman comp. Anyhow, let me know what's going on and give me some advance notice on these things!!
