aeroman
I just started bending for fun and read somewhere that starting with 40d nails was a good idea to get the feel of it. I bought a box and thought it was pretty easy to do one at a time. Then I tried two at a time and it was fairly hard. I could only do doubles (two at a time) about 4 times before failure. The nails are 5" long. How does a double nail bend of 40d nails compare to Ironminds nails? Would I even be able to bend their easiest nail? chrisof4
I would guess you could probably bend both the IM White and the IM Green, depending on the 40D nails you are bending. Bending two together is pretty good for just starting out, and you might try some 1/4" HRS. Keep grippin!
raziel
Check out Bender's webpage - http://www.geocities.com/ltgodfrey/home.html especially the nail selection and nail weights page. He's got a good list for progression and a link to an even more complete chart.
