bigmatt
Does Anyone Know where you can get a ANVIL cheap?? Thank you for your help!
GordonV
It depends on what you consider "cheap". If you want a new one, I think the least expensive place to pick one up (less than $1 per lb.) is Grizzly. The link will take you to the Anvils page of their catalog. tspinillo
If there is a Harbor Freight near you, they also carry them. T

Sybersnott
I got my 50 pound anvil at Northern. They do make a larger 70 pound anvil, but since I have the LBH... that's what I'm using now.
Jedd Johnson
Maybe dumb old lady having a yard sale would sell you one cheap, other than that, forget it. -Jedd-
John Beatty
A 300 lb anvil! I got a little wood just looking at it. One of the load items for next year's Snowman Challenge.

lancep
COOL, those are great prices on anvils! If only they would do a trade for strongman equipment
Vise
a cheaper (but less cool) option is to buy that ironmind anvil thing. you can add as much weight as you want. when you can do enough weight you can toss around a 300lbs anvil just for shits-n-giggles. kerbjr
My buddy Thom Vanvleck got both the 200lb and 300lb anvils from Grizzly, the big one is a beast. We are going to use it at our annual JWC Strongman contest in Kirksville Mo. loading it like a stone. Very awkward and brutal little beast, will be fun watching people adapt to it...or not...Brett

Did you bother reading my post in this thread? I did mention the Little Big Horn, the item you are describing.
brolly
I doubt everyone knows what a little big horn is and even less know pet acronyms Anyone got a pic of one of them in use? I am not sure from the basic pic how people use them.
odin
If there is a Harbor Freight near you, they also carry them.T They are selling a 56 pound anvil for 29.99 (reg. 49.99), but most of you would only be able to use this as a backscratcher or perhaps as a toothpick. John Beatty
500 lb anvil......wow. I'd like to try that for a lift & carry (starting on a platform) just to see if I could.
