the swiss Posted April 2, 2004 Share Posted April 2, 2004 we'll be having the 2nd edition of the swiss grip comp soon. the events will be: - grippers hardest gripper closed - two hand pinch on a 2' apparatus - rim lift - one hand lift (D. Horne apparatus) - bending this year we'll only test one hand on the grippers and the one hand lift (for a change). Very close to the europeans events, but we did not chose the vertical bar, because of the technique/pain factor for many newbies, and because it is harder to train on without the proper material. My pussy hands will be no match for Dave the stud especially now that i just weigh 157lbs (i weighed around 180lbs for the first Swiss comp) . Amaury will no doubt destroy me in bending (bending injury (ies) and Amaury is really getting good at this) pinch and grippers we'll be more or less equal. rim lift unknown anyhow.. will let you know the results.
