Z-man
Fellow Benders, What a great day, I recently bought 48 feet of bar from onlinemetals and 10 challenge bars from Dave that are in transit. Feeling ready to bend, I bent a few pieces of 3/16" round to warm up, then some easy (8twist) and hard (6twist) timber ties. Then I bent 5" timber ties, and 5" 3/16" square. Feeling good, I grabbed my 7" 1/4" round bar that has mocked me, and destroyed it Terminator style! Maybe 10 seconds total bend time, quite a rush. I bent 1 more, but failed at 6.5". I have a ton of stock coming on monday, plan to rest until then and try some new stuff. Thanks for all the tips and encouragement.

Z-man
Travis, It was HRS from Home Depot, probably a bit easier than a real yellow from what I have read here. Thanks for the encouragement, lloking forward to getting down to 6" and beyond.... -Mike
Rekx
Awsome! I can't wait to kill the yellow. What has been your training regimen? What's your favorite exercise?
tmmicklabs
Z-Man, Thanks for clearing that up. Once you are bending a 6 inch cut of 1/4" HRS then you should be able to put a decent dent in the Yellow Nail. Keep up the good work and keep us updated.
