Dumnorix
The tubes that hold the shrink wrap that the big stores use to wrap pallets is an excellent grip tool. It is a cardboard tube that looks like a huge paper towel roll. Use them for pull ups, run a barbell handle through them, or use rope to make a RT clone. They are slightly over 3 inches in diameter and are rock solid. Home Depot and Lowes throw them away, so next time you are buying nails, ask an associate if they have any empty shrink wrap tubes. Confused looks by outsiders is a part of being a grip freak.
foggymountainmuscle
CRAP! I left mine at home! (I'm away at school) I used one of those tubes to beat myself all over my body to get my muscles hard. It worked, so don't laugh too hard. I left it at home because I box a bit with some friends and we pound on ourselves. Excellent idea.
