Dipping Belts

I like IM's De Rigeur Dipping Belt™, but it's more than I need, and it's more than I'd like to spend. Can anyone recommend some other places to get a good dipping belt?

I've used others but Ironmind's is hands down the best dipping belt I have used to date. You can load it up and almost not even know the weight is there. It doesn't cut into you like other belts. If I had it to do over though I would have bought the Super Squats Belt. I have read it is basically the same thing and you can use it as the dip belt also.

I also waited to buy the dip belt for a while because it was out of budget at the time. I got a thick piece of rope and used that. It worked fine for lighter weights.

I found an old construction belt with a metal loop on one side. It's made of thick leather, you just strap it on tight, turn it so the loop is in the front and clip on the weight. Good stuff.

I tried just tying it to my waist with rope an that got tough after about 50lbs.

I have used a thin rope which I attached to my powerlifting belt as a dip belt or for extra weight with pullups. It works pretty good, but it will be hard once you get to heavy weight.

Just a cheap leather 'dipping belt' that the gym has.

The same type you can buy at most sporting good stores or weighlifting shops.Nothing special at all but it's held 250lbs.No problem.

Leather belt with a chain on it.

I just use my leather weight belt with a chain and a carabiner on it. works great up to 90lbs at least, and sure it would hold more....Brett
