amaury
Here is a pic of my first scroll work http://fr.f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/maelle...+non+class%e9es I've done it with a 30" square rod. The gripper next to it is a #3 and the nail is an Ironmind Red nail. As you can see the rod is a bit thicker than a red nail. It was very funny to bend that steel and gave me a full upper body workout ! Amaury.

SqeezeMasterFlash
Looks like 5/16" square stock. Those are some nice tight scrolls on steel that thick. Well done!

Cunny
Do you wrap the bar in scroll work? Also what would be a good size for me to try scroll work on I can bend the 180kg challenge bar. Nice piece by the way
amaury
LOL i've changed the pics meanwhile "Do you wrap the bar in scroll work?" -----> yes, i wrap the ends and i use gloves ! "Also what would be a good size for me to try scroll work on I can bend the 180kg challenge bar." Since it's my first scroll work it is hard for me to advise you on this but I'd say that you should be able to do nice and very tight coils with 1/4" square rods and be able to scroll 5/16" round rods but with bigger coils. Happy bending !
